Find collaborators

The Collaborators tab

Find journalists to bundle with: search, filters, sections, badges, and what others see about you.

Find collaborators

The Collaborators tab shows you who's on Trustfnd and what you have in common.

  1. Click Collaborators in the top navigation.

  2. Browse the sections: Connected with you, Bundle Pass compatible, Covering similar topics and Explore all.

  3. Use the search field to look for a journalist, a publication or a topic.

  4. Narrow things down with the Genre, Format, Topic and Language filters, or switch to My connections.

Each card tells you the topics you both cover, whether you follow each other on Bluesky, whether their publication is Bundle Pass compatible, and where they publish. Click a card to open the full profile, with bio, topics, formats, genres, featured links and the bundles they've created.

Found someone? Connect with them to swap contact details.

Not sure who'd be a good fit? We're happy to help and make introductions whenever we can: hello@trustfnd.com.

What the sections mean

The tab groups journalists by what connects them to you. Every section is based on a fact, never a guess.

Section

Who's in it

What you need to see it, and to show up in it

Connected with you

Journalists you follow on Bluesky, who follow you, or both. Each card tells you which.

Your Bluesky account on your profile.

Bundle Pass compatible

Journalists whose publication can be part of a Bundle Pass.

A connected Ghost, Beehiiv or Steady publication.

Covering similar topics

Journalists who cover at least one of the topics you cover.

At least one topic on your profile.

Explore all

Every verified journalist on Trustfnd.

Nothing. Everyone sees it.

A section you have nothing in common with simply isn't shown. So if Connected with you or Covering similar topics is missing, add your Bluesky account or a topic and it will appear.

Click View all on a section to see everyone in it.

What "Bundle Pass compatible" means

It means this journalist's publication can be part of a Bundle Pass. They've connected a publication on Ghost, Beehiiv or Steady, which is what a Bundle Pass needs to give buyers access.

Looking for partners for a paid bundle? Start with the Bundle Pass compatible section, or look for the badge on a card.

Want the badge yourself? Connect your publication on Ghost, Beehiiv or Steady.

The badge is about the publication. To actually create or join a Bundle Pass, you also need a connected Stripe account.

No badge? No problem for a Newsletter Bundle. Those work with any newsletter.

How Trustfnd knows who you follow on Bluesky

We use the Bluesky account on your profile. That's how we can show you journalists you already have a connection with, and tell you what kind:

  • You are mutuals on Bluesky

  • You follow them on Bluesky

  • They follow you on Bluesky

You'll see these lines on cards, and these journalists are gathered under Connected with you at the top of the Collaborators tab.

If you added your Bluesky account when you signed up, you're set. It's already in your publishing channels. If not, add it now:

  1. Open the menu in the top-right corner and choose My profile.

  2. Under Publishing Channels, click Add channel and pick Bluesky.

  3. Paste your Bluesky profile URL.

Who appears, and why am I not listed?

The Collaborators tab lists verified journalists on Trustfnd. Nobody else.

Not listed? Almost always because your verification is still in progress. The moment you're verified, you appear in the tab. There's nothing else you need to do. Not sure where you stand? Here's how verification works.

You don't need a complete profile to be listed. You're listed and searchable as soon as you're verified. But the more you add, the easier you are to find, and the more places you show up:

What other journalists see about you

Your collaborator profile is what other journalists on Trustfnd see when they find you in the Collaborators tab. It's separate from your Link in bio, which is the public page for your audience.

On your card:

  • Your name, handle and profile picture

  • Your publication

  • The topics you have in common with the person looking

  • Whether you follow each other on Bluesky

  • A Bundle Pass compatible badge, if your publication qualifies

  • Your publishing channels

  • How many collaborators you've worked with

On your full profile:

  • Your bio

  • Your topics, formats and genres

  • Your featured links

  • Your Trust Promise

  • The bundles you've created, and your collaborators

What stays private: your contact details. Others only see them once the two of you are connected. More on contact details.

Everything comes from My profile: bio and picture, topics, formats and genres, publishing channels and featured links.
