Invite, join and leave a collaboration

Most of this happens on a bundle's manage page. To open it, go to Growth, find the bundle under Collaborations, open its ⋯ menu and choose Manage bundle. If you joined someone else's bundle, the menu item is called Bundle details.

How do I invite collaborators?

You can invite collaborators right when you create a bundle, or any time later.

1. On the manage page, in the Collaborators panel, click Invite more collaborators. If you haven't invited anyone yet, the button says Send first invitation.

2. Enter Trustfnd handles (@username) or email addresses. Press Enter or Space after each one.

3. Add a private note if you like. A line on why you'd love to team up goes a long way.

4. Click Send invitation.

The people you invite get an email with a link to join. You'll see them under Pending until they accept.

How many people can you invite?

• Bundle Pass: up to 2 other creators, so 3 in total.

• Newsletter Bundle: up to 5 other creators, so 6 in total.

Only the organizer of a bundle can invite. While your own account is still being verified, you can invite by email but not search by handle.

How do I remind, renew or cancel an invitation?

Invitations sometimes get buried in an inbox. In the Collaborators panel, find the person under Pending or Expired and open the menu next to their name.

• Send a reminder: choose Send reminder. They get a reminder email, and the invitation keeps its current expiry date.

• Renew: invitations expire after 7 days. Choose Renew for 7 more days and we'll let them know their invitation is active again.

• Cancel: choose Cancel invitation for a pending invitation, or Remove for an expired one.

How do I join a bundle I've been invited to?

Someone wants to grow with you. Nice. Here's how to say yes.

1. Open the link in your invitation email. You'll also find pending invitations on your Growth page.

2. Check the Invitation Details: who invited you and who else is in the bundle. For a Bundle Pass, you'll also see the discount and Pass length.

3. Under Your publication, pick the publication you'd like to contribute.

4. For a Bundle Pass, select the paid tier you'd like to offer.

5. Click Accept invitation.

What you need:

• Newsletter Bundle: any publication.

• Bundle Pass: a connected Ghost, Beehiiv or Steady publication with a paid tier in the bundle's currency, and a connected Stripe account.

Invitations expire after 7 days. If yours has expired, ask the organizer to renew it.

How do I turn down an invitation?

No need to do anything. Just leave the invitation alone, and it expires after 7 days.

How do I leave a collaboration?

1. Go to Growth, find the bundle, open its ⋯ menu and choose Bundle details.

2. In the Admin panel, click Exit collaboration and confirm.

You leave the collaboration permanently and lose access right away. Your past numbers stay on your Growth page, up to the day you left.

If you're the organizer and want to end the whole bundle, archive it instead.

How do I remove a collaborator?

If you're the organizer:

1. On the manage page, in the Collaborators panel, click the collaborator under Accepted.

2. Choose Remove from collaboration and confirm.

They lose access right away.
