Why isn't my Bundle Pass sale in Stripe yet?
Your share of every sale is held for 2 days before it's transferred to your Stripe account. Here's the timeline, and why we do it.
Short answer: it's on its way. Your share of every Bundle Pass sale is held for 2 days before we transfer it to your connected Stripe account. Nothing is stuck, and there's nothing you need to do.
When does my share arrive?
Someone buys a Bundle Pass. They get access to your publication right away. The hold only affects the money, never the Pass buyer.
Your share is held for 2 days, counted from the moment the payment goes through.
We transfer it to your Stripe account. Transfers go out every hour, so yours usually lands within an hour of the 2 days being up.
Stripe pays out to your bank on your usual Stripe schedule.
An example: a sale on Monday at 3 pm shows up in your Stripe account on Wednesday, shortly after 3 pm.
Why the 2-day hold?
It protects you from having to pay money back. If a Pass buyer is refunded in full during those first 2 days, your share is cancelled before it ever reaches your Stripe account. Nothing lands, so nothing has to be taken back.
It's been more than 2 days and I still don't see it
A few things to check:
Look in your Stripe balance, not your bank account. The transfer arrives in Stripe first. When it reaches your bank depends on your Stripe payout schedule.
Make sure your Stripe account doesn't need attention. Here's what to do if it shows as restricted or incomplete.
